Keep Doing

This morning I changed things up a bit. My usual routine is to spend time with Father on the lanai, having a morning chat, so to speak. Then I make my way to my desk to put some ramblings here in this little space. Then I’ll head out to ride my bike. Well, I had my chat this morning as usual; however, I felt a pull to spend more time with Him. So I jumped on my bike to ride and talk.

It was interesting because usually I’m listening to a podcast or music when I ride. This morning I didn’t, I just heard the sound of my bike tires. It made me focus on the riding, and it allowed me to focus more on my conversation with Father. I chatted away, openly and out loud. Good thing it was early in the morning, or someone might have thought I was a little goofy talking to myself.

As I rode and asked Him to please guide me on the path He wants me to walk, I heard the words, “Just wait”. Hmm…ok. I had more conversation and I felt calm. The Lord was letting me know that an answer will come in His time. I know that all things will be revealed, but it’s hard sometimes not to have it on my time 🙂 .

After spending this little extra time this morning in conversation, I think the message is to keep doing what I’m doing. Keep Father in the center of it, share His love, be there for others, and keep moving forward. When the time comes that the Lord wants me to go a different direction, He will show me which direction to head. For now, I’ll just wait, and I’ll keep doing.

Have a good day and week, my friends. Prayers lifted as always for the return of sweet Emily Rea.

John 13:7
Jesus answered him, “What I am doing you do not understand now, but afterward you will understand.”
