I think there are times when we all, even the most faithful, need a boost. I don’t think there is anything wrong with that, meaning I don’t think Father feels we’re weak. Heck, He knows better than anyone that we are not perfect.

I think there are those times when we have to look to the Lord and say, “I need a little boost, I need to know You are here”. Or, maybe we just need Father to say, “Come on now, get back on the horse and keep riding forward”. Whatever you need to hear from Him, that’s ok. The important thing is to reach out to the Lord and let Him know you need that boost.

Father knows our hearts, He knows our thoughts, and He knows what we’re going to do before we do it. I’m pretty sure He shakes his head many times thinking, “He we go again”. However, He also knows when we are hurting, when we’re scared, upset, or sad. He, like any parent, wants to take those feelings away.

So, today, friends, if you feel you need a boost to your faith, the best way to get it is to talk with the Lord. Tell Him how you feel, confess whatever is heavy on your heart, and let it go. Ask Him to help strengthen you to handle whatever He has planned for you. He’ll be there, trust in Him.
