Today I have an assignment for you. It’s not difficult, and it won’t take long. When you’re finished, I think you’ll find your day is brighter. Well, now that I have your attention 🙂 .
Seriously, though, I was thinking about what to write about in this little blog today, and after spending a little time with Father, I heard, “Pick One”. I inquired a little deeper, and what I heard was actually, “Pray for one”. Ahh, got it.
So, here’s your assignment, and I hope we can all complete it today. Choose a family member or friend and say a prayer for them. Use their name specifically in your prayer, make it personal. Whether you are giving thanks for them, praying for healing, or for strength for them, whatever it might be, make it personal. Then, call them or text them and let them know that you had them in prayer this morning.
I think one of the most loving things we can do as children of our Lord is to pray for each other. It’s easy, it costs nothing, and most importantly, it’s personal. And you know what…we need more personal in this world 🙂 .
So friends, take a moment today to complete this little assignment. Pick one, and pray for one.
Have a good day, friends. Continued prayers for sweet Emily Rea’s return.
p.s. Thanks to Candace Corbin for the beautiful sunset picture from here in Naples last night, the cover of today’s little blog.
James 5:16
Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working.
