Humbly Seeking Prayer

I come here daily to share my ramblings with all of you wonderful followers. I am so blessed to have a community of people who stop in here to begin their day with a person many don’t know personally. I do my best to just share what I think Father has on my heart that day, and I guess most of the time I do ok.

I come to you all occasionally to ask for prayers for individuals I’ve come to know, or situations that occur, and I’m amazed at how you come together in unison with prayers that rock the heavens. If you’ve followed this blog for very long, you know that I believe the louder the prayers are in heaven, the more Father takes notice. Call it the “squeaky wheel effect” I guess. I know that’s pretty silly because our Lord hears all prayers equally. But hey, it can’t hurt to have the multitudes praying, right?

Friends, this morning I come to you humbly to ask for your prayers for a very special person in the life of our family. My brother-in-law, Mac. He’s the kindest and most lovable human being you would ever meet. He and my husband, well, to say they are almost one would be an understatement. I ask that you pray for healing. I don’t know what Father has planned. I pray that he will leave him with us a little while longer. If not, I know he will walk into the arms of Jesus and his parents who have gone before.

I’m sad. It’s a natural emotion when those we love are not well and are coming to the end of their time here. But I know this, we are not of this world we are only in it for a short time. We will all be together again in the world we are meant to be, the world where Jesus is King and paradise is everlasting.

So this morning, I simply ask for prayers for Mac and the entire McQueen Clan. We love you, Mac, and when the time comes, we will rejoice in the life you lived here in this world, knowing that we will be together with you again soon.

Thank you, my friends. I’m blessed to have such support with this little blog.

And he said, “My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.”
