A few days ago, I wrote this little blog about Father giving us signs. I was sharing that I do believe He gives us signs, and these last few days Father has solidified that belief. He has a way of letting His children know that He is working. I know, I know, I sound like a broken record here, but I can’t stress enough the presence of Father in our midst.

Yesterday, we made the trip to Illinois to be with family and Mac. The signs we have gotten along the way, well, they are unmistakable. Admittedly, I’m not quite sure yet what Father is showing us; however, I believe in His time we will understand.

Let me just share the signs we’ve been given over the past few days. One, I told you all about the beautiful bald eagle that landed outside our lanai on Saturday evening. A sign of strength and beauty. Two, yesterday, while we were in line at the rental car agency to pick up our car, my husband looked up to see “little Jesus” in the car rental sign. There He was sitting in the “a” of the National logo (picture below). Three, when we checked into the hotel last night, the clerk at the desk handed us our keys. I noticed that we were on the first floor, which we never get (I think I have in my profile to put us on upper floors). As we walked away, my husband said, “I really don’t like being on the first floor, let’s see if they have another room on a higher floor”. We went back to the desk and asked if they by chance had another room on a higher floor. The man said he thought they might, but needed to go check to make sure it was clean. He came back a few minutes later and said, “All set”. We got our keys, and the room number assigned to us was 427. That may not be significant to you, but it was to my husband. My husband looked at me and smiled, “427, that was the engine in the first car Mac restored”. You see, Mac has spent his entire life working on cars and vehicles, even owning his own business for years.

So yes, we have had many signs over the past few days. Again, I don’t know just yet what they mean, but I am confident Father will reveal that to us in His time.

For today, I just ask for continued prayers for Mac and the McQueen Clan. Father is in the middle of this situation, and we will continue to lean on Him at every turn.
