Seal the Cracks

Yes, the cracks. The fallen one he is patient. He sits in wait and looks for the little cracks where he can work his way in and do his best to make you feel alone and apart from Father. It’s his mission in his life, you know, to do his best to show the Lord that we will turn from Him.

I guess if we can keep that in perspective each day, it can help us to seal those cracks and not allow satan to succeed at his mission. The best way, in my opinion, to seal those cracks is by enforcing the power of faith that we carry with us every day. Dive into the conversation with our Lord and ask Him for the tools we need to seal those cracks tight. I have a picture in my head of Jesus and a toolbelt 🙂 .

I know it sounds simple, but in reality, it’s a struggle each day to not let the fallen one have an upper hand. We have to begin every day asking our Lord to dress us in his armor to be ready for whatever we are to face in the day. And…when we feel tired, feel like we are alone, feel defeated, well, that’s when our Lord is there to bring in reinforcements; we just need to ask. We even have our own “field manual” for this war, the Bible.

So friends, today I ask Father to dress me in the armor I need, equip me to seal the cracks where satan hopes to work, and provide me with the strength of Jesus’ love to fight the battle. Together with our Lord, there is no fight we cannot win. So let’s get to sealing the cracks and making the foundation strong.

Thank you for being here, my friends. Please continue to pray for Mac and the McQueen clan.

Ephesians 6:11
Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil.
