What If

About a month ago, in this little blog, I shared a conversation I had with my husband. He was telling me about how he prays for satan. Yes, you heard that right. It is such an interesting perspective, and over the past month, since writing that little blog, I’ve been thinking a lot about the possibilities. I’ve actively added him to my daily prayers, asking Father to change the heart of His fallen angel. And…I actively encourage that fallen angel to come back to Father, seek forgiveness, and accept the unconditional love that only He can give.

Can you take a moment to imagine what would happen if we could get satan to come back to his Father? How different would this world be? Take a moment to think about what’s happening in the world today. We are on the verge of peace in the Middle East. Talks are happening again with Russia and Ukraine. These are all very good things. However, if we could get Father’s fallen angel to return to Him, would the wars have even started in the first place?

Yes, I know that we, God’s children, have free will to do what we will do. However, if satan were to turn his heart and his ways, could he actually be one to encourage God’s children not to sin? Could he be a cheerleader of sorts to help us be fully one with God? I mean, what an example that would be. The fallen one, the evil one, turning his ways, asking for forgiveness, and welcomed back by Father. Talk about someone who could speak from experience. The ultimate prodigal son returning.

Friends, what if we all prayed for satan to change his heart, come back to Father, and ask for forgiveness, open his heart to accept Father’s love? It wasn’t an easy prayer the first time I prayed it. However, it has gotten a little easier as I have pondered the possibilities of the outcome.

So, I encourage you today to add God’s fallen angel to your prayers. I encourage you to pray for all of His children. We’ve all fallen in one way or another, and we all need the grace and forgiveness of our Lord. Satan is no different.

Have a good day friends, continued prayers as well for the return of sweet Emily Rea.

p.s. Thanks to my friend Judy Kay for the beautiful sunrise picture from the heart of TX, the cover of today’s little blog 🙂 .
