I had an interesting slip of words this morning. Well, I don’t know whether it was a slip of words or if it was a correction. Let me explain. You have all heard me refer to this little blog, or the little blog. I really haven’t used the phrase my little blog. It’s funny because until this morning, I didn’t realize that I haven’t called it my little blog.

As I talked with Father this morning, I asked as I usually do, “What can I share for You this morning?”. However, here’s where the “slip” or “correction” came in. I actually said, “What can I share in Your little blog this morning?”. I guess I’ve always felt this was His little blog, based on the way that I’ve referred to it. Now, though, it really is official 🙂 .

It’s a good reminder each day that all that we have, all that we are gifted with, all that we hold dear, well, they are all gifts from our Lord. We would have nothing if it were not granted so by Him. I know there are times when we think we did it all; however, nah, not so much. The beautiful family, the lifelong friends, a successful career, the successful retirement, etc., in our lives, nope, not us, all of it granted by Him.

Every day, we need to stop and give thanks for the gifts we have. Give recognition to the Lord that we realize we would not be where we are in this world without everything He provides. It’s also important to understand how we best use the gifts He has given to glorify Him. That is just a simple question for Him each day, just like I did this morning.

So friends, this little blog, no, it’s not mine, it’s His. Start your day as I did, asking how you can share His love today. At the end of the day, that’s what this “His” little blog is all about.
