One of the most wonderful outcomes of this little blog, Father’s little blog, is the incredible support that comes from all of you when I come here and ask for prayer. I know without a doubt that those prayers make such a difference. You’ve all heard me say so many times before, I believe, when we lift multitudes of prayers, Father takes notice. It’s the squeaky wheel in Heaven effect, I think 🙂 .
Well, this morning I come to you asking for prayers for a little guy. A friend of mine asked if I could lift prayers for the three-year-old son of a friend of hers. The little guy’s name is Joey. I don’t know all the specifics around his health issues, but little Joey has a trach. Last night, he was going to spend the night in the hospital to undergo a special sleep study. How he does with this test determines whether they can begin to wean him off the ventilator that he uses at night.
Joey is a twin, and I have to tell you the pictures I saw last night of these two precious little ones, well, I melted. They are adorable, and their smiles, oh my, they are going to be heartbreakers when they are older 🙂 .
This morning, friends, please lift a prayer for this wee one, Joey. Pray that his body is strengthening to allow him a life without the need for breathing support. Pray for his parents, for continued strength to face Joey’s health challenges. Pray also for Joey’s twin brother, that he continues to enjoy the bond the two share.
Thanks so much, my friends, for your prayers and for always being here to lift them for whatever the need is. I’m blessed to have such support from you all.
Have a wonderful day friends.
Psalm 127:3
Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward.
