Dig In

We’ve got a super busy week on tap at work. Events almost every day, wrapping up with our annual Christmas market over the weekend. I found myself waking up throughout the night, thinking about the various events and tasks that accompany each of them.

Why is it we do that? Wake up thinking about things, I mean. Things will go as they should, Father will be in the center of it all, and even if satan tries to work his meddlesome ways, the Lord will intervene. That is, if I turn this week over to Him and let Him guide the way.

It doesn’t mean that I don’t have to have my ducks in a row. I need to be prepared and dig in to the week. However, keeping the Lord in the center of it all is what is most important. That is where the wheels come off sometimes. I let my Type A personality take hold, and before you know it, I’m trying to do it myself, rather than letting Him lead the way.

So, this week, as things get busy, it’s more important than ever that I focus on bringing God into all that I do. Yes, I talk with Him each morning and evening; however, that in between time, well, ya, He is there then too. Digging into the week, well, that means digging more into my relationship with Father 🙂 .

Friends, if your week is going to be swamped like mine, I encourage you to make a point of asking the Lord to lead the way. Ask Him to guide your steps, be in the midst of all that you do, and most importantly, let others see Him at work in you. We got this, friends. It will be a wonderful week with the Lord at our side.

Have a great day all 🙂 .

Deuteronomy 31:6
Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.
