Share a Little Jesus

A few months ago, I shared here in this little blog about a “Little Jesus” that a friend had given me. Over the course of several weeks after receiving Him, I started to see these little figures in various places, restaurants, stores, even at the car rental counter in the airport! I began carrying mine with me every day. Every time I reached into my pocket and felt that little figurine, I was reminded not only of Jesus being with me constantly, but I was also reminded to be more like Him. It helped greatly, especially when I was frustrated or out of sorts; touching that figure would reset my attitude for sure.

I also shared that I had lost my little Jesus several weeks ago. I’ve turned everything upside down. I think He fell out of my pocket during our Christmas market at church back in November 😦 .

Well, this weekend, I ordered my own assortment of the little Jesus’. I have mine tucked safely in my pocket, and like others, I’ll begin sharing them with those I meet. Over the weekend, someone was handing them out at the Christmas parade πŸ™‚ .

Friends, I come here daily to encourage you to share the love of Jesus, to be more like Him. Yes, I believe we need to do more of this through our actions. However, physically sharing Him in these little figures, I think it’s a simple way to get others to really think about Him. And…if carrying around this little figure daily helps others to be more like Him, well then, all the better.

So today, share a little bit of Jesus with those you meet, in whatever form that takes. Have a great day, friends πŸ™‚ .

1 Peter 3:15
But in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect.
