Well, here we are, just 5 days from Christmas. Hard to believe I know, and every year we say the same thing, “Where did the year go?”.
Simple little blog today, friends. Like most of you, I’m wrapping up last-minute Christmas tasks and errands. So I thought it would be fun, as we count down the days to the coming of baby Jesus, to share your favorite Christmas tune. Over the years, I’ve had many, but there is one that always brings tears to my eyes. It’s usually the first hymn of our Christmas service.
As we count down to Jesus’ birth, I’ll be listening a little more to “O Come All Ye Faithful”. The verse, “Ye Lord we greet the, born this happy morning”, ya that gets me every time.
So, friends, I invite you to share your favorite Christmas tune today. If you’re reading this on social media, drop a link to your favorite song in the comments—or share it in the comments on the blog post—let’s fill social media with Christmas carols today 🙂 .
Have a wonderful day, friends. Remember the reason for the season, spread the Christmas joy when you are out and about today. And…continued prayers for the return of sweet Emily Rea.
Isaiah 9:6
For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
