If you’ve been reading this little blog for very long, you know that some days the messages are very simple. Hence why the blog is little 🙂 .

Today is one of those days. The blog is short, and the message is simple; however, the message is powerful. Today is our youngest daughter’s birthday. So, as I do every year for those I love (just a few weeks ago for our oldest daughter), I say the birthday prayer. Well, say it as I type it here.

Watch over thy child, O Lord, as her days increase; bless and
guide her wherever she may be. Strengthen her when she
stands; comfort her when discouraged or sorrowful; raise
her up if she fall; and in her heart may thy peace which
passeth understanding abide all the days of her life;
through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Happy Birthday, Lauren, may your day be filled with the love of family and friends, laughter and joy, oh, and cake 🙂 ! We love you, “kid”!
