I don’t know about you, but sometimes for me Tuesday is a more difficult day of the week to get going than Monday. Maybe it’s because over the years of working, we expect Mondays to be a challenge. I mean, we’re coming off a weekend and all. Tuesday, on the other hand, well, it’s that sneaky little day in there that isn’t quite yet the middle of the week, and is just past the beginning of said week. Those of you out there who are retired, I get it, Tuesday is just another day 🙂 .
Ok, enough about this pesky little day. I just wanted to share a prayer that I found this morning. When I read it this morning, it felt just right for today. It’s a prayer of awareness of God. We can all use that for sure.
Lord, open my mind that I may fully recognize Your presence in every moment of my day. Let me see You in the beauty of creation, in the faces of those I encounter, and even in the challenges I face. Remind me that You are always near, guiding and sustaining me.
Open my heart, Lord, so that I may freely offer You all my thoughts, joys, and struggles. May my heart be a place of worship, surrender, and gratitude, continually seeking to align with Your will. Fill it with Your peace and love, so that I may reflect Your grace to others.
Open my mouth, Lord, that I may speak to You throughout my day—not just in moments of need, but also in praise and thanksgiving. Teach me to turn to You as my first thought in all situations, knowing that You delight in hearing my voice and long for fellowship with me.
I am so grateful, Father, that You welcome my prayers, no matter how small or simple they may seem. To You, I give my all—my thoughts, my actions, and my heart. Use me today for Your glory. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.
Friends, may your Tuesday be filled with opportunities to show others Christ alive in you. Together, with Him, we got this. Have a wonderful day, everyone 🙂 .
Psalm 118:24
This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.
