You all know how much I enjoy my Saturdays. Today will be no different, actually, maybe even more so today. A little pampering on deck, and then time on the water before the cold front hits us again. Our local weather guy said yesterday, “We get to see all four seasons in the next 5 days!”. Great, I think 🙂 .

So, I really don’t have a specific message for today, and I guess that’s ok. What I will say is this: as I thought about the last few days, I simply encourage you to be in touch with people. Pick up the phone and call a friend, a neighbor, a family member. I’ve done quite a bit of that these last few days, and I have to say, it’s been wonderful. Catching up with people, listening to stories, and enjoying laughter. Stay connected to those you know and love. It’s one of those little things that the Lord asks us to do regularly, right, “love others as I have loved you”.

Friends, just enjoy today. I hope it brings you joy, love, laughter, and a little bit of relaxation. Spend time with those you love, talk with Jesus, and give thanks for the many gifts He gives us every day.

Have a wonderful day, and please lift some prayers for dear friends of mine, Erin and Joey, who had to say goodbye to a sweet furbaby yesterday 😦 .
