A lot is happening these days. I guess you could say that’s an understatement. It’s hard to keep up with the news, with work, home, and day-to-day life. This morning, as I’m heading out to church, I wanted to share this prayer. It’s from our prayer book, and it is with special intention for the “Human Family”. I think praying for Father’s Human Family is very appropriate these days.
O God, you made us in your own image and redeemed us
through Jesus your Son: Look with compassion on the whole
human family; take away the arrogance and hatred which
infect our hearts; break down the walls that separate us;
unite us in bonds of love; and work through our struggle and
confusion to accomplish your purposes on earth; that, in
Your good time, all nations and races may serve you in
harmony around your heavenly throne, through Jesus Christ
our Lord, Amen.
Friends, I just encourage you to lift prayers for God’s children all over the world. Many hearts are hurting, filled with anger, filled with pain. Let our Lord come and heal those hearts that we may be one with Him.
Romans 12:9-10
Let love be genuine. Abhor what is evil; hold fast to what is good. Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor.
