Walk Away

Have you heard those words before? Just walk away. We tend to tell ourselves, or others, this when it’s best to just let a situation be. Yes, sometimes we all find ourselves in situations where walking away is the best option. And…actually, I think there are times when it is totally ok to just walk away, let go of the issue, challenge, or whatever is in your midst causing unsettledness.

I think about times when Jesus did just that, He walked away, leaving many wondering what just happened. Now, admittedly, He had the inside scoop and knew how things were going to go, unlike us. However, He still knew when to move on.

Friends, we all face challenges in our lives, some more difficult than others. That’s why it’s important to focus on what matters, our relationship with our Lord first and foremost, family, and friends. Live into those relationships, share the love of Christ, and know when to simply walk away from the ugliness that satan may try to drag you into.

Have a good day, friends. Take a few moments before it begins to give thanks for the gifts in your life πŸ™‚ .

James 2:1
My brothers, show no partiality as you hold the faith in our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory.
