My simple prayer this morning as I rode my bike with Father is the title of today’s little blog.
I mentioned a few weeks ago that I had slightly changed my morning routine. Instead of just sitting on the lanai and spending a few moments each morning with Father, I spend a little more time with Him during my morning walk or bike ride. This extra time allows me to share more and grow deeper in that relationship with Him. I’ve really come to love this time each morning.
As I most always do, I asked Father what I could share in this little blog for Him today. Nothing really came to me initially. It wasn’t until I rode back through our front gate, when I was finishing my prayer to Him, saying, “Father, please help me to be better than I was yesterday,” that the message hit me.
Isn’t that what our hope and our prayer should be? Are we better today than we were yesterday? If we live our lives today, loving a little deeper, being a little kinder, having our hearts open a little wider than yesterday, then we are one step closer to doing all that Jesus asked.
So, friends, as you begin your day, I encourage you to take a moment to think about yesterday. Was there something you said or did that you wish you had done differently? Is there an opportunity to right it today? Can you be better today than you were yesterday?
There are opportunities every day to show the Lord to others through our actions. Today, look for the small ways to do just that. When we show Him in our actions, we will naturally be better than yesterday 🙂 .
Have a good day, my friends. Continued prayers for the return of sweet Emily Rea.

Little children, let us not love in word or talk, but in deed and in truth.
