Yesterday we kicked off our annual conference. It’s been a year-long planning process and it came together yesterday with a ton of energy, excitement, and just pure joy!
One of the favorite parts of this time for me is the interaction with people. The support is amazing and to see eyes light up when attendees see friends they haven’t seen for a year, it’s very gratifying. Yesterday there were so many hugs, I lost count. The personal touch and genuine sharing of emotion were amazing.
Father was at work yesterday in so many ways. As I watched attendees interact with each other I could feel Father. He was placing people in the right places at the right times. Newbies who were awestruck were welcomed in. Stories were told and even tears were shed. And through it all, Father put people where they needed to be.
The hugs were everywhere. And so was Father. Take some time today to be aware of what’s happening around you, and maybe even give someone the hug they might need.
