I’m home after ten days away for our annual conference. Ya, I have to admit, I’m a bit pooped 🙂 But, it’s in a very good way. It was an amazing week and I’m so humbled by everyone who came by to say thank you for a wonderful week. I’m humbled by those who hugged my neck and said it was their first time at our meeting and that it was life-changing for them. I’m humbled by the hotel staff who hugged my neck when I left yesterday morning, and simply said, “Ms. McQueen, it’s been a pleasure to be with you and your group this week”. Father has been sooooo in the midst of these past ten days.

So, today, you’ll find me on the water. Not sure yet whether it will be a dock or the beach, but in any case, I’m planning to have a fishing pole in my hand and not a clipboard piled with my daily documents, 🙂 Time for a little rest.

I’m going to spend some quality time with Father today, listening to the water and being in the sunshine. I need the time to rest and recoup and to give thanks for the incredible blessings of this past week. I’m blessed, truly blessed, and I’m looking forward to spending the day reviewing each day last week, and the incredible memories that were made.
