Just some simple prayers for this morning’s little blog. We’ve all prepped, we’re keeping informed, and we are keeping in touch with family and our local neighbors too. Here comes mother nature, and I also say, here comes Father.
As we all know, we can’t control the weather, but what we can control is our prayers and conversations with Father. Those of you feeling anxious, scared, or confused, take some time to step away from the news about Ian. Shut it off for a bit and spend time with God. We can do amazing things through prayer, and if you don’t really believe so, I simply ask you, what do you have to lose?
I offer this simple prayer this morning as we go into the next few days of uncertainty. “Father, be with your children here in the path of hurricane Ian. Watch over your children, keep us safe, give us clarity, and give us strength to face whatever will come our way. Father we know that you and you alone control the days ahead, let your children put our trust and faith in you. Be with our first responders, emergency personnel, the teams that will help to restore power, the volunteers in shelters, and so many more who will simply give of themselves to help and protect their communities and residents. Help us Lord your children to come together and help each other. We know that you will never forsake us. Father, hear our prayer”.
Florida peeps, be safe, check in regularly, and make sure your final preps are in order. Keep having those conversations with Father, and lift those prayers, he’s listening π
Psalm 54:2
Hear my prayer, O God;
Give ear to the words of my mouth.
