Better Days

I’ve seen several videos, that have just been taken over the past week or so, of areas affected by Ian. They show the coastline with houses in rubble, overhead shots showing the familiar “blue tarps” covering roofs and entire sections of a town that is simply gone. We continue to see piles and piles of possessions stacked at the edges of city streets.

Yes, Ian has indeed changed our lives in many ways, but in some ways, the changes have been good. As I’ve said before, I’ve met some amazing people during this process, volunteers, people in need, and local business owners, all just wanting to help each other. Through these efforts of coming together, I believe Father is guiding us and is pleased. We just need to keep following this path together.

I listened to a new song yesterday that spoke to me for sure. I think it’s very appropriate for right now, regardless of whether or not you are in the midst of Ian’s recovery. I hope it speaks to you the way it did to me. Keep doing my friends, better days are coming 🙂 .

For we walk by faith, not by sight.
