We Don’t Have to Wait

If you’ve been following this little blog the last few days, well I guess the last week or so, I’ve been sharing how I feel God is on the move. He is working through His children to show that He is indeed among us.

I don’t know about you but over this past year, well, since I began writing this little blog, my relationship with Father has deepened. I find myself almost looking for Him throughout the day, does that make sense? I talk with Him regularly throughout the day, like a friend, (no I’m not just talking to myself as you might think). It’s been an interesting time that is for sure.

This morning as I sat down to share thoughts here, I was struggling. I just wasn’t quite sure what to write about. I’ve mentioned before how this happens. When that block occurs, I just “offer it up” to Father, “what message would you like me to share today”. Today what I heard was, “I’m here”. Well, “Ya”, I thought, of course, you are. Hmmmm…music I thought next.

Well, as He usually does, God guided me to this upbeat, toe-tapping song with a message that speaks to just what I’ve been sharing this past week or so. The name of the song is Heaven’s Here and like I said it’s just a great song to get ya going. The message behind it however is what caught me, in the chorus of the song goes like this, “Hallelujah, sing like the angels do, we don’t have to wait ’til this life is through. No separation, He has raised us up, we don’t have to wait, heaven’s here with us.” The group, Mercy Me, (yes one of my favs), they share the story behind the song here.

We have work to do my friends, this I truly believe. But…we don’t have to do it alone, He is indeed here and we don’t have to wait for Him.

Enjoy this “toe tapper” this morning as you start your day, you can thank me later for leaving the chorus in your head all day 🙂

Galatians 2:20
I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
