Faith in Action

Have you noticed that when a Holiday falls in the middle of the week, you truly have no idea what day it is πŸ™‚ . Well yes, that would definitely be the case this week. Anyway, I’m happy to be back to this little blog after a little bit of a break for the 4th.

This morning I just wanted to share a story about a pretty amazing kid, well I should say young lady. I’ve not met her personally, but I do know her mom, and I’m not surprised by how incredible Kayla is. You see Kayla is 22 and was diagnosed with liver cancer late last year. She has spent the first half of this year going through radiation and chemo treatments to shrink the tumor so that it can be removed. We’ve all watched her journey over the past months via social media. Through all of her appointments and treatments, Kayla has shown her smile, her strength, an amazing positive attitude, and she has shown her incredible Faith. Her love of Father and her belief that He will heal her is unmistakable.

I’ve prayed for Kayla daily, as have soooo many. She has an army of prayer warriors lifting prayers for her, and my hope is she will have a few more after reading this little blog today.

Today you see is surgery day for Kayla. The treatments have shrunk the tumor to where it can be removed. Prayers for healing are being answered and I truly believe that Father is working through our prayers πŸ™‚ .

Kayla’s mom mentioned in a post last night that when Kayla talked with her priest yesterday, she mentioned she didn’t want all of the focus on her. Her priest told her as part of her healing, ask others to send prayer requests to her and she could pray for them. So Kayla will be focused on praying for others while she is healing. What a wonderful way to heal, to share her love of Father in prayer for others.

Today friends I simply ask that you lift prayers for Kayla this morning as you ready yourself for the day. Let’s add to the multitude already being lifted for her. Father hears our prayers, and I truly believe that those prayers are being answered πŸ™‚ . You’ve got this Kayla, and Father has you wrapped in His healing embrace.

Mark 5:34
And he said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well; go in peace, and be healed of your disease.”
