Well, I’m celebrating an anniversary today, actually I should say this little blog is. One year ago today I sat down and launched what I lovingly call, “this little blog”.
As I’ve shared before, my plan was to write a book where I would share my sunrise and sunset pictures, accompanied by a bible verse about these special gifts Father has provided. As time ticked away I realized that God was calling me to do something, and before I knew it, he popped the idea of this little blog into my head. So, one year ago I sat down and whipped together this little website and its two pages 🙂 .
In the beginning weeks, the blogs were short and sweet, just as I felt the pages of the book would be. A few sentences, a picture, and a bible verse. Over time though I began to feel that Father was asking me to share more of myself and more of him. He provided words, phrases, and opportunities for me to share stories, experiences, and music that shows us He is among us.
He has also continued to show me how truly blessed I am. You all have been here to provide support along the way. Your messages, phone calls, and conversations about how you enjoy this little blog, how this little blog truly touches you on some days, and even how this little blog has helped you through some difficult times, those messages of faith and that support are priceless to me.
I’m grateful to all of you who allow me to share your stories, our stories where Father has truly been present in our lives. He has built this little blog and its following. He has shown me the path to take here, and He has brought us together through it.
Yes friends, I’m truly blessed and I give thanks today for Father at work through this little blog. I give thanks to all of you and your support, and I look forward to continuing to share His message through some simple words each day.
Thanks again my friends for you support. Happy anniversary “little blog” 🙂

And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
