Believe it or not, the weather the last few days here in SW Florida has been kind of Fall-like. It was cloudy and gray yesterday and pretty cool, (ok, relatively speaking). The wind was blowing and there actually were some leaves falling on the ground. Ok, I know that is stretching it a bit because there are always leaves falling on the ground around here 🙂 .

I do miss the fall colors that we used to have each year when we lived up north. Although I don’t miss the cold that would soon follow.

I was thinking this morning about the changing colors, the changing seasons. Isn’t it funny how the seasons kind of reflect our lives? We go through changes, ups and downs, excitement and even just being laid back, again kind of like the seasons we live through.

Maybe Father designed the seasons knowing in time our lives would mirror them. We would go through changes just as they do. With every season though, with every change in our lives, we grow. We learn, we enjoy new experiences and we have the opportunity to live fully as Father intended.

As the seasons change, so will our lives. Having that intimate relationship with Father will help us navigate whatever the new seasons bring. So, whether you love the crisp air of fall, or prefer the heat of the summer, enjoy the opportunities and changes that the seasons of this life bring. We’re blessed my friends, Father is showing us the gifts right in front of us.
