Sometimes we are put into situations and we’re not sure why. Father brings challenges our way that sometimes seem difficult to overcome. In the midst of those situations we get wrapped up in the self emotion, the distractions of the moment. Before long, we are the center of the pain we feel.

Then Father brings something into the midst of that pain, a reminder that the growth we are feeling, the lessons we are learning, they are helping us to grow closer to Him, if we but let them. As I’ve said many times in this little blog, Father never promised that life would be easy, what He has always promised is that we will never go through this life alone. I guess there are times I forget that, even though I’m here just about every day trying to remind everyone that we are not alone.

During those times when you are not quite sure why you are where you are, take a moment to just stop. Stop and ask Father to show you the way, guide you through the pain or the fear, or whatever the emotion might.

Today is another day to grow closer to God. Today is a day to share His love in whatever the situation, to overcome pain, to heal old wounds and to come together to love as He loved us.

Have a great day my friends, and remember, Father IS always with us, regardless of the challenge or the situation. Will we recognize Him standing right there beside us?
