Today is a special day, our granddaughter’s birthday. I can’t believe how quickly the time has flown by. She’s another year older, a young adult now, but I will never forget the first time I held that little baby. Today we celebrate Dakota. Happy Birthday to an amazing young lady 🙂 .

You know what, we should celebrate every day as if it’s a birthday. On birthdays we give thanks for the individual, that Father brought them into this world. We celebrate their years here with us. We give thanks for that special person. Well, shouldn’t we do that every day? The Lord has blessed us with the gift of family and friends. We should cherish those gifts, and take time to celebrate them every day.

So today friends, I hope you’ll help me give a special shout out to my granddaughter Dakota. I also hope you’ll take time to celebrate the gifts of family and friends today. Father has given us so many gifts, let’s give thanks for them.

Dakota, today we celebrate you and I offer the birthday prayer to you sweet lady ❤ .

Watch over thy child, O Lord, as her days increase; bless and guide her wherever she may be. Strengthen her when she stands; comfort her when discouraged or sorrowful; raiser her up if she fall; and in her heart may thy peace which passeth understanding abide all the days of her life; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
