Numbers

Each morning when I come to this little blog, the page that I land on shows me the activity of these little posts. If you know anything about websites, social media, the techy stuff, you know that “likes”, “clicks” or “views” are where it’s at. Well, that is if you find that stuff important. The more followers you have, the more clicks you get, that’s how you judge if your content is interesting and ultimately if what you are doing is successful.

Isn’t it kind of sad that the way we judge if what we are doing is successful is by how many people click on a post or “like” something we’ve said. Though I do find it interesting to see which little blog ramblings seem to resonate more with you all, I don’t let the information skew what I write. At the end of the day, I’m just here sharing my thoughts on this journey that Father has asked me to take in this world. If through that journey I can help just one person find that relationship with God, then I’ve made a difference.

Sometimes we let the numbers, the “activity” drive what we do, yep, I’ve been there. I told myself when I started this little blog, I wasn’t starting it for the “clicks” and “likes”. I started it because Father tapped me on the shoulder to go share his amazing love. So, here I am, one little blog at a time.

I’m blessed that so many have shared with me that at certain times this little blog touches them, or is just what they needed to hear at the time. We are all in this world together friends, so let’s not let the numbers drive what we do. Instead, let’s let Father drive what we do and say.

I’ll continue to drop in here every day to share my ramblings in whatever way Father leads me. He is the only “like” that matters to me.

Have a great day friends, and thank you for your support of this little blog each day 🙂 .

1 Thessalonians 2:4
But just as we have been approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel, so we speak, not to please man, but to please God who tests our hearts.
