Pssst…It Will Get Out

Last week a friend of mine sent me a text message. He said that my daily posts of this little blog were not showing up in his morning social media feed. He used to see them not long after I published the little blog. Now, he said, “It’s several days later before I see them”. He implied that he felt FB may be pushing my little blog further down in his feed.

Now admittedly, I am not on social media much anymore, with the exception of posting this little blog each morning. I found that it was taking too much time, and was filled with not-so-nice interactions, I felt stressed after spending time there, and well, I just found other things to do that were more productive for me. Plus, the platforms change the rules so frequently that it was more work to catch up with friends, than to just call them or send a text to check in.

When my friend told me that my posts weren’t showing up in his feed the way they used to, it made me wonder. Could my little blog post about Father be so powerful that it needed to be hidden from others? Nah, why would that be? Well, I smiled to myself thinking, it really won’t matter if this is occurring because one thing I’m pretty sure about, His message will get out.

More and more people are openly discussing their relationship with God. More and more people are understanding that it’s important for us to get back to spending time with Him each and every day. They see the difficulties and challenges in our world and they understand that it’s only through Father that these difficulties and challenges will be resolved. It’s only through our relationship with Him that there will be healing and reconciliation. So yes, His word will get out regardless of whether it’s seen immediately, or several days later. If Father wants His message heard, um…it will be πŸ™‚ .

So, I’ll just keep doing what I’m doing. I’ll keep sharing what I believe He is asking me to share. If even one person sees this little blog, well, that’s all that matters. If my little messages can spark just one person to come closer to Father, that is all that matters.

Thank you friends for your continued support. I’m not sure you can know how much it means to me. Oh, and if you aren’t seeing this for several days, you can subscribe to the little blog and an email will be sent to your inbox each time one is published.

Have a great day everyone πŸ™‚ .

p.s. Thanks to my friend Sherri Donaldson for the sunset picture from last night in Illinois, the cover of today’s little blog.

Isaiah 40:8
The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God will stand forever.

Subscribing to receive emails is the best way, so you never miss out. I often see God posts being squashed, but as Kim says, the message will get out one way or another!
