Sunday Sing-a-Long

Do you find there are times when being strong in your faith and doing the right thing, well, it can wear you out sometimes. Standing for what you believe is right, sometimes is a lonely place. It just seems like the pressures of this world, well some days they are pretty intense and they come at you from all directions. Well, yes that would be satan trying to overcome and tell us that we aren’t strong enough to live this life the way Father wants us to. Those are the times when we must fight even harder, and stand even stronger, for God’s will. And yes we are going to be tired, but at the end of the battle, I know that Father is going to be there to bring us rest and peace.

I find myself thinking about Jesus and what he went through. He bore it all for us. Knowing full well how His life would end, and knowing all that He would have to endure, He did it anyway. So yes, I think I can withstand those days when things seem difficult because they are in no way as difficult as the walk Jesus walked.

Friends, one day we will see Father face to face and when we do, how will we handle it? Will we be hearing the words, “Well done good and faithful servant”? I think I need to ask that question of myself every day, will I hear those words when the day comes? This morning I wanted to remind us that there is something greater, something brighter at the end of this life. However, while we are here, we have work to do, keep spreading His love.

Here’s a classic to remind us to keep imagining what it will be like šŸ™‚ . Have a good day my friends.

p.s. Thanks to my friend Beth Ageros for the beautiful sunset picture from New Hampshire, the cover of today’s little blog!

Matthew 24:44
Therefore you also must be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.
