INSPIRASUNS

Yesterday at church we added a prayer to our service. It’s a prayer from our Book of Common Prayer, and I think it’s so timely for where we are in this world. I’ll share it below and I hope that you might say it along with me every day for the foreseeable future.

As I mentioned in this little blog yesterday, I believe only Father will help us reunite and save this nation. God never forces himself on His children, we are free to choose who we serve. Stepping away from Father has consequences, and I believe we are seeing them in real-time. He gave us only 10 rules to follow in this wide world of life, and we struggle to follow even those 10.

The good news is that Father will always forgive, He will always be there when we ask for that forgiveness and commit ourselves to Him. He will engulf us in His arms and welcome us back, just as the father welcomed home the prodigal son. So friends, let us be solid in our relationship with Father, share His message with others, and welcome all who choose into God’s loving fold.

A Pray for the Human Family
O God, you made us in your own image and redeemed us through Jesus your Son: Look with compassion on the whole human family; take away the arrogance and hatred which infect our hearts; break down the walls that separate us; unite us in bonds of love; and work through our struggle and confusion to accomplish your purposes on earth; that, in your good time, all nations and races may serve you in harmony around your heavenly throne; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
