Friends, you have always been so supportive here with this little blog. I thank you always for stepping up with prayer whenever called. Earlier this week I asked for prayers for an older friend of ours who had taken a fall on Monday. Well, I’m happy to report, our prayers were heard and answered. Our friend Judy is doing fine, other than the fact she looks a little like she may have been in a lightweight title match. Thank you for your prayers.
This morning I come to you with another prayer request. A dear friend’s niece has been missing for several days. Emily Rea left to go paddle boarding on Tuesday at a reservoir in MT and hasn’t been seen since about 6:45 p.m. that evening. Emily is an experienced outdoors person. She paddleboards almost daily, and fishes in Alaska, she is skilled and knows her stuff. Her car was found parked right where she told her friends she would be. She left her dog Hugo at home, and as my friend said, “She would never not go home to him”.
Friends, we need to lean in hard to Father and pray for Emily to be found. I’ve been praying for a hedge of protection around her, that He gives the rescue search teams eyes to see and ears to hear. Bring Emily home safely to her family. Please take time today, many times today, to lift prayers for this sweet lady, for her family, and for the rescue teams who have come together to search for her.
I’ve included a flyer below with a phone number to call. If you are in Montana, the West Glacier area, if you know anything or have seen anything, please call the number below.
Thank you friends for your support of this little blog, but more importantly for always being here to lift prayers whenever called. Father, bring Emily Rea home safely today.
Luke 22:32
But I have prayed for you that your faith may not fail. And when you have turned again, strengthen your brothers.
