INSPIRASUNS

There really are no words this morning as we are all learning more about the terrible mid-air collision between an American Airlines plane and a Blackhawk helicopter near Reagan National Airport in Washington DC. My heart hurts this morning for the victims and their families.

Over the next few hours we will know more as details and facts become known. This morning I will simply offer prayer for those involved, for the passengers and crew on the airplane, for the crew on the helicopter, for the rescue teams and EMS that are involved in the search, for the medical teams at the hospitals, and for the families of all involved I lift this prayer.

Heavenly Father, please hold close the victims of this tragedy. Be with the rescue teams, the first responders and all the emergency personnel, guide them as they work. Heavenly Father wrap your loving arms around the families of those involved, give them comfort and strength to face the days ahead. Father be with those who mourn that they may find comfort in your healing power. Help us Lord to lean fully into You and not rely on our own understanding. In Jesus Name I pray Father. Amen
