I’m not focused today. There, I said it 🙂 . My mind is wandering all over the place today. I had my morning prayer time with Father, sat down right after, and read from His word, and then felt this overwhelming “take a break” moment. I actually lay back down for a few moments, dozed off, and woke up with a start. Oh boy, this is gonna be one of those days!

I hopped in the shower and ran here to try and put together some coherent thoughts. After sitting for a little bit, not really knowing what to say, especially given the way my morning started, I heard, “It’s ok to ask.” I actually have a little blog titled that from three years ago. In that blog, I shared that it was OK to ask Jesus for help. Well, I think that message is totally appropriate for today.

Actually, though, I think the message I was hearing from Father was that it’s ok to ask for prayer. I think I could use a little of that today. I’m not sure why I’m so out of sorts. I guess we all have those kinds of days. It’s a busy week, and everyone’s schedules are whonky, so that isn’t helping.

So friends, today, this little blog is a little request. I come to you to ask for prayer, that the Lord will clear my mind, calm my unease, and open my heart to whatever He has planned for the day. You all are so good about offering prayer whenever I ask. I know it won’t take long before I’m feeling God at work.

Thank you, friends, for your support in so many ways. I thank the Lord each day for this community of children of God. Have a good day, I know with your prayers, and Father in my heart, it will be.
