This morning, as I walked, I heard this message clearly. I hadn’t even asked Father what message I could share yet, so I’m guessing this is one that He really had on His mind 🙂 .

We’ve all been in those situations when something is happening and you know it’s not right, but you don’t do anything about it. Well, if you’re like me, you have anyway. It could be as simple as someone speaking poorly of another person, and rather than shutting it down or walking away, you do nothing, or worse, join in. I can think of other situations where I should have just spoken up and reminded those I was with that this behavior isn’t what God wants.

I was thinking about my day as I walked this morning, and that’s when I heard “Stand up for me”, very clearly. I think the Lord was sending a clear message to start reminding people what He has asked of us. Ten simple rules to follow, and a simple request to treat others as we would like to be treated.

It takes courage to stand up for what is right sometimes. Look at what Jesus faced when He did so. He spoke truth 100% of the time, and at the end of the day, He was killed for it. He knew the cost, but He showed us the way, the way to eternal life in paradise with Him.

So, today, I’m going to do my best to “Stand up for Him”, to show the Lord through my actions. Even if it might be difficult, at the end of the day, I’d rather face that difficulty than try to explain to the Lord that I wasn’t strong enough to stand up. And…you know what, I’m guessing if I ask Him to give me the strength and courage, He’ll be right there 🙂 .

Give it a try today, friends. Stand up for Him. Do the right thing, even when it may not be easy. We’ll be glad we did 🙂 .
