My husband and I were talking about this little blog last night. I was sharing that I never know when a little blog is going to touch someone. There are times when I hit the “publish” button and think, “Hmm, I’m not sure that was even coherent”. Yet, I’ll get several text messages or comments on the blog saying how much someone needed to hear the message that particular day.
There are days when I guess the little blog is “forced”, meaning I just don’t know what to write. Other days, things flow, and I have to force myself to not write a novel 🙂 . This little blog has grown into something I never imagined. It started as a way for me to share some beautiful sunrise and sunset photos and some scripture. Now, I share ramblings about my day, ask for prayers for those in need, an occasional awesome song to make people feel better, and whatever else comes to mind. Through it all, though, I try to keep the Lord in the center of this little blog, this little community.
So, I’ll keep sharing what comes to mind on any particular day. I’ll keep the Lord in the center, because with Him being the center of everything, the rest will fall into place. Maybe that’s the message for today, friends. Keep Christ in the center of all you do, regardless of what is happening around you. Focus on Him, and the rest will fall into place.
Thank you for always being here. Thank you for your text messages, phone calls, and emails, and for giving me the support to keep this little blog “keeping on”. The Lord has blessed this little community 🙂 .
Have a great day, everyone. Please continue to lift prayers for the return of sweet Emily Rea. The Lord knows what happened to her; ask Him to bring her home.
Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.
