We’re traveling home today. It’s been a wonderful few days with some very special people. We’ve said all week that it’s like a family reunion 🙂 . I’m very fortunate, actually, I’d say blessed, to work and spend time with this group.
This morning, I simply share a prayer for today. The weekend is around the corner, still a few days in the work week, but there is a light at the end of that tunnel. Let’s be grateful for the many gifts in this life, family, and friends, and most importantly, the gift of our Lord Jesus.
Lord, help me cultivate a joyful heart that rejoices in Your presence. Even in moments of difficulty, let me find reasons to be grateful. Open my eyes to see Your love reflected in the people, opportunities, and experiences around me. Strengthen my faith to see Your goodness in every situation. May my gratitude reflect Your love to those around me. Let joy fill my spirit today. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
Have a good day, friends. I’ll be back on Saturday morning (traveling tomorrow), with some more ramblings. Please continue to lift prayers for the return of sweet Emily Rea.
Colossians 3:15
And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful.
