I’ve shared with you all before that sometimes I come to this little blog and don’t have a clue what to share. Maybe it’s because things in life are going well. I tend to draw on happenings from the previous day or so, and if it’s been kind of quiet, well, then I am searching for what to share. I look for Father in all the events of life, and look for His lessons to share. I try to use my best judgment and not share situations that are sensitive or personal to others.
Yesterday was a pretty quiet day. I got some project-type things off my plate at work. Our building project is in the final stages of city approval, so that will be ramping up soon. Prepping for our “season” now has been a plus, because our “season” is going to be a little more cray cray than usual.
So, this morning, I sat down at this little blog with not much to share. Then I thought, is it better to not write a little blog if I don’t have anything to say, rather than force some words here? I heard a little voice from Father say, “You can always share me, even when there is nothing to share.” Well, that was a subtle message, wasn’t it?
Friends, the Lord is in the middle of each and every moment we live. We don’t have to go far to find Him, and maybe that’s my lesson today. Even when you think you don’t have anything to share with Him, you do. Share everything with Him, and when things are going really well, give thanks to Him for those gifts.
Today, I give thanks to Him for all the gifts in this life. Thanks for family and friends. Thanks for the support that I receive here every day from all of you. Most importantly, thank you, Father, for coming here as your Son and giving Your life for me.
Have a wonderful day, friends. Please continue to lift prayers for the return of Emily Rea, and if you could add a small prayer for my older brother Bill, who is dealing with some health issues right now, I’d appreciate those immensely.
1 Corinthians 10:31
So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.
