Yesterday, my husband and I took a drive. It was a beautiful day, one of those windows-down, roof-open kind of drives. I showed him the little campground I found several weeks ago. I shared about it with you in this little blog. We made our way around Marco, even driving by the “popular” Marco Airport.
It was just a simple afternoon driving and chatting. I think it’s what Sundays, the day of rest, should be like. Spending time together with the Lord and those you love š . That day of rest really does prep us to begin again on Monday.
As we begin this new week, let me share a prayer that I read this morning, which is a wonderful beginning to the day and the week ahead.
Dear Heavenly Father, As I greet this new day, I come before You with a heart full of gratitude for the gift of life and the dawn of a new week. I place my trust in Your unfailing love, knowing that it is the anchor of my faith and the source of my strength.
Lord, in the quiet of this morning, I seek Your guidance and wisdom. Show me the way I should go as I navigate the challenges and opportunities that this week holds. Illuminate my path with Your light, and grant me the discernment to make choices that align with Your will.
I entrust my life and the experiences of this week into Your loving hands. May my actions and interactions reflect Your love and grace. Use me as an instrument of Your peace and a channel of Your blessings to those I encounter.
Lord, help me to find joy in the journey, hope in the uncertainties, and purpose in each moment. May this Monday morning prayer set the tone for a week filled with Your presence, Your guidance, and Your unfailing love. In Your Holy Name, I pray. Amen.
