You all know that I spend time on my lanai each morning and evening to spend quiet time with Father. The morning is especially nice because it is so quiet.
Every day, I ask the Lord to guide my path. I ask Him to show me His plan and to help me carry out that plan with Him in my heart. This morning was no different, but for one thing. When I asked Father to show me His plan and help me to be strong enough to carry it out, I heard these words, “I am where you are.” I had to sit for a moment and think about that message. It wasn’t too long before I said, “Ah, thank You, Lord, I get it.”
Many times, we don’t understand the plan that God has for us. We’re not sure why we’re going through the challenges we face or the situations we’re experiencing. I do believe that we gain strength through trials. That strength comes from the Lord, because He is where we are.
If you’re like me, too often you try to “go it alone”. You don’t need help; you know what you’re doing. Well, I’ve learned many times over that things are easier when I simply ask for help. Jesus asks us to just call on Him. He is there, He is where we are, and He’s walked in our shoes.
We don’t know for certain the plan that God has for us, but it certainly doesn’t hurt to ask Him each day. Ask Him to help you carry out whatever He has planned for you. He’s right beside us, friends. He is where we are; let’s let Him strengthen us to do His work.
Have a good day, friends. Continued prayers for the return of sweet Emily Rea.
