Walk with an Open Heart

This morning, as I often do, I asked Father what message I could share today. “Open your heart” is what I heard as I sat and prayed. Listening to our Lord is more about listening with your heart than your ears. How many times have you given the advice to someone who is trying to make a difficult decision, “Listen with your heart”? Jesus lives fully in us, and He knows and guides our hearts. So, today, friends, be guided by your heart. Listen for what the Lord is calling you to do.

As I sat down to write this little blog this morning, I read this prayer. It’s a prayer about walking in joy and blessing. Well, that pretty much falls right in line with what I heard this morning as I prayed.

Heavenly Father, I desire to walk today in the fullness of Your joy and blessing. Joy is not merely a fleeting emotion but a deep-seated confidence that no matter the circumstance, Your love remains constant.

It’s the anchor that grounds me amidst life’s storms and the song that rises from my heart in the quiet moments. Today, I choose joy.

Lord, bless my endeavors, my interactions, and even the seemingly mundane tasks of the day. Let every moment be permeated with Your presence, turning ordinary encounters into divine appointments and challenges into testimonies of Your grace. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.

Walk with an open heart today, friends. Let it be filled with the love and grace of our Lord. Let that love and grace spill out to those you meet.

Have a great day; continued prayers for Indy, James, and sweet Emily Rea.
