This morning, as I sat with Father, I prayed as I have for a long time that He would bring Emily Rea home. Two years ago today was the last time Emily was seen.
As I said a few days ago in this little blog, I’m not sure why some prayers seem to be answered quickly and others, well, they seem to not be answered. I know I have to trust in God’s plan; He is in control, not me or us.
So, today, as we recognize this “anniversary” of Emily’s disappearance, I continue to lift prayers for her return. I continue to lift prayers for her mom and family who deal with the pain and continue the journey of finding answers.
Friends, I just ask that you take a moment today and lift prayers as well. I ask almost daily that you keep her in your prayers. Today, though, please make a point of doing so. Let Father hear the chorus of prayers to please bring this lost child home.

Keep Emily and her family in your prayers. The Lord is in control, and one day, I know prayers will be answered.
