Wow, I slept in a little later than usual this morning; I mean, even for a Saturday. I guess sometimes your body knows what you need, and you just have to listen.

As I thought about that this morning, something else came to mind. I’m guessing you know what I’m going to say. Sometimes Father knows what we need, and we have to listen. Actually, He knows what we need all the time, and many times we don’t listen.

Today’s little blog is going to be a short one; that’s ok. With my lengthy rambling from yesterday about mahjong, maybe a shorter one would be appreciated 🙂 .

Seriously though, there isn’t much else that needs to be said. The Lord is here for us for whatever we need. Trusting Him in the plan He has for us, though not always easy, is all we need to do. Giving Him the worries, anxiousness, anger, fear, hurt, or whatever we’re carrying will lift them from us. When we’ve done that, we walk away from them and move on, new and ready to do His work. It’s that walking away part that is difficult, at least for me.

Well, friends, that’s what Jesus asks us to do. Leave what we’re carrying at His feet, the feet that were nailed to a cross for us. He died there to carry and pay for our sins. He died there to wipe away those sins so we could begin anew. So let’s accept the gift and repay it by living as He asks.
