INSPIRASUNS

We begin a new week, and this morning, as I spent my usual morning time with Father, I asked Him, as I always do, to walk beside me today and this week. I asked for strength and for Him to guide my path so that I can do the work that He wants me to do. I offered prayers for several friends who are facing various challenges right now, and that He would provide healing.

I sat quietly for a while following those petitions, and heard, “I am with you always, to the end”. These words that Jesus spoke to His disciples before he ascended into heaven, they are some of the most comforting words in the Bible. These words were the strength given to the disciples to carry on through all they would face.

Think about the challenges in your life, whether past or current. Have these words come to mind? If you’re like me, they probably haven’t. I tend to try and tackle the issue head-on, sometimes like a bull in a china shop 🙂 . Then, once I realize the issue is bigger than me, that’s when the Lord taps me on the shoulder with a subtle reminder that it would have been easier if I’d just come to Him first.

I found comfort in the words He gave to me this morning, not just for me but for the friends and family I pray for. “I am with you always”. I know He is, and He is there for all in my prayers as well.

I’m going to end this little blog today with a prayer I read this morning. It too reminds me that He is with me always.

Dear Lord,
As I begin this new week, I pray for encouragement and inspiration. Thank you for the gift of a fresh start, and for the opportunities that lie ahead. Fill my heart with your peace and renew my spirit with your joy.

Lord, when challenges arise, remind me of your presence and your promises. Grant me the strength to face each moment with courage and the wisdom to make decisions that honor you. Inspire me to approach my work and interactions with creativity, positivity, and purpose.

Help me to be a light to those around me, offering encouragement and kindness wherever I go. May your love guide my words and actions today, and may I reflect your grace in all I do.

Thank you for walking this day with me and for being my source of strength and inspiration. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
