I got an email late yesterday afternoon. I have to admit, I read it, didn’t take it well, and actually let it get under my skin. I stewed about it most of the evening. I guess I did more than stew about it. In the middle of the night, I woke up still thinking about it. This morning, I’ve been asking myself what to do next about this message.
I’ve been sitting here for a while trying to figure out what to write here in this little blog when I heard a message saying…patience. I think that is what Father is trying to convey to me. I’m not the most patient person in the world. You all know me, I’m a check-it-off-the-list type person.
So, instead of letting that email continue to knaw at me, I’m giving it to the Lord. I’ve asked Him to show me how to handle things. Until then, I’m choosing to step away from it, not let satan have fun in my head any longer, and enjoy some time with some friends today.
Friends, don’t let satan do the happy dance in your space. Tell him to take his party elsewhere. Ask the Lord to clear the space, clear your mind and give yourself to Him fully. Only then can we find true peace.
Have a good Saturday, friends. Enjoy some football, take a walk, read a book, and spend a little time with Jesus 🙂 .
