Yesterday things were a little off. If you read this little blog, you know it was the first anniversary of the day my brother-in-law went to be with Jesus.
Throughout the day, things felt a little off. I know that was the processing of the day. There were many moments of silence as my husband and I ran some errands (in the Mustang). The silence was ok though.
This morning, as I thought about yesterday, I’m reminded that grief is a process, and with each day we grow stronger. I think one of the best ways to honor our loved ones who have made their way to their eternal home, is to keep moving forward in this world. We will be with them again, and until that day comes, we have work to do here.
Today is a new day. It is filled with hope and God’s promise to always be with us. While we are in this world, we should live life to the fullest. Don’t sweat the small stuff, and give thanks for those we love.
Have a good day, friends 🙂 .
John 14:27
Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.
