An Instrument of Peace

A busy week lies ahead for me. Our annual Christmas Market is this coming weekend, and although it’s a wonderful time, it’s quite a process to set up and take down. Our building project is moving along nicely, with footings to be poured this week. Before we know it, there will be walls going up 🙂

I read several prayers this morning, and one had a petition that touched me. “Bless my efforts, and may I be an instrument of your peace in all that I do”. Yes, I think that is something to strive for indeed.

As we begin the new week, I’ll share the full prayer here for you all. May you find opportunities today and throughout the week to be an instrument of the Lord’s peace.

Heavenly Father, as I prepare for this Monday morning, I pause to express my gratitude for the week that has passed.

Thank you for the moments of joy, the challenges that have strengthened me, and the lessons that have shaped me. I am thankful for the love that surrounds me and the opportunities to grow. May my heart be filled with appreciation for the blessings, both big and small, that you have bestowed upon me.

As I stand at the threshold of a new week, I seek your guidance and strength. Grant me clarity of purpose and intention as I embark on the days ahead. May my actions be aligned with your will, and may I find purpose in my work and interactions.

Help me to approach challenges with resilience, and may my endeavors be guided by love and compassion. As I set my intentions for the week, may they reflect the values of my faith. Bless my efforts, and may I be an instrument of your peace in all that I do. In Jesus’ Name I pray, Amen.

Have a great day, everyone. Thanks as always for your support of this little blog 🙂 .

Psalm 119:105
Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.
